Prizes
To be eligible for any prizes, you must be an Australian resident who is registered as an individual participant for Walking Stars 2022.
The prize is not transferrable, or redeemable for cash.
Cancer Council Victoria accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury incurred to enter the competition or in connection with taking up the prizes.
If the winner cannot be contacted within 1 week during business hours, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next person chosen at random.
Prizes will be shipped by standard post to the winners at mailing addresses supplied upon registration or where possible emailed the email used for registration. Shipping may be subject to delays.
Once prizes have left the prize suppliers premises, we take no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
Prizes are subject to availability and CCV reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
All participants who meet promotion criteria will be automatically entered into a prize draw or be eligible for the promotion. Only one entry will be entered per prize per participant.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The promoter is Cancer Council Victoria (ABN : 61 426 486 715)
Employees of Cancer Council Victoria, their immediate families, and any companies and agencies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter.

- Participants who have pre-registered and paid for the 2022 event prior are automatically entered into the prize pool

Go into the draw to win a massage gun valued at $229
- Promotion period is from 12:00pm 9th November – 12:00pm 11th November 2022.
- To enter you must recieve 3 donations over $10 each between 12:00 pm 9th November - 12:00pm 11th November 2022.
- The winner will be randomly selected by Cancer Council Victoria, 615 St Kilda Road, St Kilda Vic on 17th November 2022 and must meet the eligible conditions.

Merchandise
Flashing Badge
- To qualify for a flashing badge, participants must make a self-donation of $10 or more within 24 hours of sign up between the 16th of August to 11:59pm 1st November 2022.
- Only available to the first 1000 qualifying participants.
- The prize is not transferrable, or redeemable for cash.
- Participants only qualify for one flashing badge per person.
- The flashing badge will be sent in the host kit via Australia Post, 4 weeks prior to Walking Stars 2022 event.
- If qualified for merchandise after the 1st November, we are unable to mail it to you due to post delays. Your merchandise will need to be picked-up on the event night of Walking Stars.
- By qualifying for the flashing badge, you indicate you understand and accept these terms and conditions.
Walking Star Socks
- To qualify for a pair of Walking Stars socks, participants must sign up for the physical event at Kings Domain on 3 December.
- Only available to the first 500 qualifying participants.
- Only available to participants who sign up for the physical event at Kings Domain on 3 December.
- The prize is not transferrable, or redeemable for cash.
- Participants only qualify for one pair of socks per person.
- The socks will be sent in the host kit via Australia Post, 4 weeks prior to Walking Stars 2022 event.
- Merchandise is unavailable to be picked-up at the event, your merchandise will be posted via mail.
- By qualifying for the socks, you indicate you understand and accept these terms and conditions.
Sweat Band
- To qualify for a wrist sweat band, participants must have $250 raised on their Walking Stars dashboard by 11:59pm 1st November 2022.
- Only available to the first 1000 qualifying participants.
- The prize is not transferrable, or redeemable for cash.
- Participants only qualify for one sweat band per person.
- The sweat band will be sent in the host kit via Australia Post, 4 weeks prior to Walking Stars 2022 event.
- If qualified for merchandise after the 1st November, we are unable to mail it to you due to post delays. Your merchandise will need to be picked-up on the event night of Walking Stars.
- By qualifying for the sweat band, you indicate you understand and accept these terms and conditions.
Water Bottle
- To qualify for a wrist sweat band, participants must have $500 raised on their Walking Stars dashboard by 11:59pm 1st November 2022
- Only available to the first 500 qualifying participants.
- The prize is not transferrable, or redeemable for cash.
- Participants only qualify for one water bottle per person.
- The water bottle will be sent in the host kit via Australia Post, 4 weeks prior to Walking Stars 2022 event.
- If qualified for merchandise after the 1st November, we are unable to mail it to you due to post delays. Your merchandise will need to be picked-up on the event night of Walking Stars.
- By qualifying for the water bottle, you indicate you understand and accept these terms and conditions.
T-shirt
- To qualify for a Walking Stars t-shirt, participants must have $750 raised on their Walking Stars dashboard by 11:59pm 1st November 2022.
- Only available to the first 300 qualifying participants.
- The prize is not transferrable, or redeemable for cash.
- Participants only qualify for one t-shirt per person.
- The t-shirt size must be provided for the shirt to be shipped. Due to health regulations, we cannot exchange sizes.
- The t-shirt will be sent in the host kit via Australia Post, 4 weeks prior to Walking Stars 2022 event.
- If qualified for merchandise after the 1st November, we are unable to mail it to you due to post delays. Your merchandise will need to be picked-up on the event night of Walking Stars.
- By qualifying for the t-shirt, you indicate you understand and accept these terms and conditions.
Bum Bag
- To qualify for a bum bag, participants must have $1000 raised on their Walking Stars dashboard by 11:59pm 1st November 2022.
- Only available to the first 300 qualifying participants.
- The prize is not transferrable, or redeemable for cash.
- Participants only qualify for one bum bag per person.
- The bum bag will be sent in the host kit via Australia Post, 4 weeks prior to Walking Stars 2022 event.
- If qualified for merchandise after the 1st November, we are unable to mail it to you due to post delays. Your merchandise will need to be picked-up on the event night of Walking Stars.
