Our beautiful friend Angie

I first met our beautiful friend Angie when I was six. My sister (Nat) and I would love being around her, always fun, cracking jokes and the life of the party. Angie had this incredible way of always showing up with a smile and making everyone around her feel like they had been a friend for life. Many years on, she hasn't changed a bit! She is a load of fun, an incredible mum, friend, role model and an inspiring teacher to a ton of primary school kids.

This walk is a testament to Angie's incredible determination, grit and resilience to walk 21kms whilst in the midst of undergoing treatment.  Her ability to 'rally the troops' to raise funds to support much needed research is yet another sign of what an awesome human she is. 

So, I'm also taking on the 21km Walking Stars challenge this Sat 3rd December - it's going to be one special night to make a difference. 

Did you know that 1 Victorian is diagnosed with cancer every 15minutes? Money raised will go towards lifesaving cancer research, prevention programs and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
