Happy to help
I am again happy to do what I can to raise funds for the Cancer Council so it can continue to invest in life-saving cancer research, provide prevention programs that help people actively reduce their cancer risks, and offer vital support services for people affected by cancer.
When I received my diagnosis of prostate cancer in 2017, I immediately called the Cancer Council and found the nurses to be extremely understanding and helpful. They were able to address my concerns and to provide me with advice and a clear path forward. In times like this you need someone you can trust, and the Cancer Council has all of the necessary services and support in one place.
One Victorian is diagnosed with cancer every 15 minutes, so unfortunately, it’s a sad truth that most of us know someone who's been affected by it.
Every bit helps to support the Council Cancer in its mission to prevent cancer, empower patients and save lives.
I’m walking to help people facing cancer
I’m shining bright for people facing cancer and walking 21km over one weekend with Walking Stars.
Every year more than 35,000 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’.
Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 of them will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis, but there’s still so much work to be done.
Cancer Council needs our support more than ever this year. Every dollar raised gives hope for a cancer free future. By supporting my walk, you’re funding life-saving cancer treatments, prevention programs, and support services that ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
