Hi all! I would just like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you for all your love and support you have shown to all of us, especially Angie. We have been blown away by your generosity through meals, care packages and offers of support. We are immensely thankful and very appreciative.

On Saturday 3rd of December the Cancer Council are holding a fundraiser, Walking stars!! It is a walk that will take place in Kings Domain. It is a 21km walk that begins at 5pm and concludes at whatever time it takes to finish (hopefully setting up a picnic space to enjoy a well earned beverage or two)

I will be walking the 21km for Angie and for all those who have fought and are continuing to fight this beast. I invite you to Join our team “Angie’s Angels” and either walk with me or offering to support this great cause financially because without you, we could not do this journey alone.

Now for some of you 21km in one night may be too much. So you have the opportunity to still join the team and commence your walk over the week beginning on the 28th of Nov and walk a few kms a day but complete your 21km by the 3rd of December! All details are included when you click on the link below.

If you are able to donate to Angie’s Angels or even assist in finding some sponsors that could jump on board that would be greatly appreciated. I am currently looking at corporate sponsors to support our team too. We have some t-shirts designed and made for Angie’s Angels and would love for you to join us in any way you can. Invite your friends and family to join us on either the walk or through donating. More the merrier!

I’m taking on the 21km Walking Stars challenge this December – it’s going to be one special night to make a difference!

Did you know that 1 Victorian is diagnosed with cancer every 15 minutes? From the moment that person hears the words ‘you have cancer’, their life will never be the same again. The emotional, physical and financial toll of a cancer diagnosis is far reaching.

Thanks in part to generous Victorians, 7 in 10 people facing cancer will survive five years after their diagnosis. But there’s still so much work to be done.

By supporting me, you can help tackle cancer from all angles – from cancer research to powerful prevention programs and compassionate support services. Together, we can work towards a day where a cancer diagnosis holds no fear.
